On our Father/Daughter vacation in San Antonio, Jamillah arranged for us to stay at a boutique hotel right on San Antonio’s famous River Walk. On our second day, Jamillah wanted to introduce me to the Pearl District, another popular section of San Antonio. It was a thirty-five-minute walk from our hotel. In the humid 95-degree heat, walking was out of the question. However, we were happy to discover it was the last stop on the river shuttle. We enjoyed the scenic ride on the river. After embarking, we were treated to a shaded park with a beautiful waterfall and aquatic life. I used my Nikon Z9 with a Nikon Z 85mm F/1.8 S lens to capture the photographs.
THE ALAMO
We could not leave San Antonio without visiting the Alamo. The mourning we visited there was a shooting demonstration with the shooters, drummers and all dressed in the period.
